Product Candidates

Infinity has a diverse pipeline of four drug candidates in clinical development. We are committed to discovering and developing drug candidates with the potential to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients.

IPI-493 is an orally administered agent that potently and selectively inhibits the heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90) chaperone system. We believe that Hsp90 chaperone inhibition has broad therapeutic potential for patients with solid and hematological tumors, including cancers that are resistant to other drugs. IPI-493 is being evaluated in multiple clinical trials. For more information on our clinical trials, please view the Clinical Trials page.

Infinity is also evaluating an i.v.-administered Hsp90 chaperone inhibitor, IPI-504 (retaspimycin hydrochloride), which is being studied in an ongoing Phase 1b non-small cell lung cancer study in combination with Taxotere.

IPI-926 is an oral inhibitor of the Hedgehog pathway. The Hedgehog pathway is believed to play a central role in allowing the proliferation and survival of certain cancer-causing cells and is implicated in many of the most deadly cancers. IPI-926 is currently in Phase 1 development.

Infinity is also in Phase 1 development with IPI-940 a selective, orally administered inhibitor of the fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) enzyme for the potential treatment of a broad range of neuropathic and inflammatory pain conditions.

Infinity also maintains a robust discovery engine in order to sustainably fuel our pipeline.

In July 2010, Infinity entered into a license and development agreement with Intellikine, Inc. under which Infinity obtained global development and commercialization rights to Intellikine's portfolio of inhibitors of the delta and gamma isoforms of PI3K. Among these inhibitors is IPI-145 (formerly known as INK1197), an orally available, dual delta/gamma-specific inhibitor of PI3K that has demonstrated activity in preclinical models of rheumatoid arthritis, allergy and inflammation. Infinity intends to commence clinical development of IPI-145 in autoimmune-inflammatory diseases in 2011.
